Nails of the week!

Yesterday I made a trip to Tips and Toes in Al Ain where I was treated to a very nice french polish applied to both my finger and toes. There was soo many different colours to choose from but I thought I would opt for a nice and polished french look. I love having my nails done and at home due to the damaging finger effects that my harp causes from hours of practice I never really take the time to bother. However as I am away for a couple of weeks and have been traipsing through the desert out here and doing the odd bit of horse riding I thought my nails could do with a bit of a pick me up :) I was really happy with the finish and was there for about an hour in total with 2 people working seperately on my hands and feet. When I go home I am going to attempt to keep my nails in check despite my harping work. I am really interested in trying a gel or shellac manicure as the finish and long lasting effect looks amazing! Have you tried gel or shellac?
